
Todd has long been a staple of the regional, national, and international electronic music scenes, with his first release as ENHANCED on Planet E in 1993's elements of and experiments with sound, as well as the minimal tech house releases on UK's Peacefrog Records and Detroit's Seventh City with Dan Bell as .xtrak. He's also recorded for locally based, internationally respected labels Residual [1998's Hi8us LPand 2001's static EP], as well as 2122 [compilation appearances as ENHANCED and solo electro EP as cron]. He has been played by everyone from Danny Tenaglia to Richie Hawtin [and featured on his 1996 Mixmag compilation], and named as one of the Urb Magazine's top 100 to watch for in 1996. Amidst it all, he co-founded ele_mental with like-minded individuals Ed Luna, Charles Noel, Titonton Duvante in 1993, and was involved in organizing events with the FIREXIT collective of Dan McMahon, Matt Clausen, Jesse Will, Gabrielle Stephens, and Ed Luna from 1999-2001. Throughout these events, they brought such acts as Claude Young, Shake, Marumari, Beta Bodega Coalition, Sutekh, Safety Scissors, Kit Clayton, Chessie, Monolake, Datathief, Joshua Treble, Twine, and Stewart Walker to Columbus.
Todd plays a selection of deep, sensual house, broken beat, jazz, funk + techno, with Latin, Brazilian, + tribal influences and an eclectic, minimal edge. His has recordings for many labels in the US [Chicago, Columbus, Detroit, NYC], Canada [Toronto], Germany, and England; including Peacefrog, Planet E, Seventh City, Background, 21/22, Residual, PTR, Chair, etc. in addition to working with Dan Bell, Carl Craig, Titonton Duvanté, Charles Noel, and female vocalist Natacha Labelle over the last 8 years. He has toured Europe several times, playing in Barcelona + Vigo, Spain; Berlin, Dusseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Germany; Feldkirch + Vienna, Austria; Thun, Geneva, Friborg, Bern, and Zurich, Switzerland; Nijmegen, Holland; Copenhagen, Denmark; not to mention many dates in North America: Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Toronto, NYC, Miami, and SF, as well as performing live at the 2001 Detroit Electronic Music Festival, and the Planet E "all access 2.0" DEMF party live with Natacha Labelle.
His future plans include releases on Planet E, Philpot, Peacefrog, Tuning Spork, and a full-length album of deep tech house on Germany's A Touch of Class]. He has just released a critically acclaimed EP with Natacha Labelle on Planet E, with two singles and an album out later this year. His remix credits include Soul Bossa Trio [Irma], Moonstarr [Compost / PTR / P-Vine], txt [21/22], Hyperactive [Contact] and Ultra Red [beta bodega coalition]. In the works are remixes for Charles Webster [Furry Phreaks, Presence, Miso Recordings], Albanek [Soul Seduction], Memory Systems, and Boogie Wall Soundsystem [Play Records].

Todd Sines is the director of + SCALE, an award-winning multidisciplinary studio working in design, film, video, music and fashion, based in NYC. Over the last 10 years, his projects have included directing + designing film titles, commercials, music videos, special effects, CD-ROMs, websites, identity systems, advertising, environmental graphics + signage, and various art installations + projections. Before starting + SCALE in 1999, he worked as a senior graphic designer at the Wexner Center for the Arts; as an interactive designer for Resource and Motivo, and an effects / Flame artist for Ozone Studios. His work for Miramax, Tri-Star Pictures, Palm Pictures, The Limited, Limited Too, Burton, Apple, Adobe, HP, Nationwide, Wexner Center for the Arts and Zanadi Jeans has awarded him recognition from One Show Interactive, Communicating Arts Interactive Annual and CSCA's Creative Best, amongst others. He's taught Motion Graphics in the Design Department at Ohio State University, where he obtained his Bachelor's of Fine Arts in media arts. He has contributed articles to RES, XLR8R, and is currently at work on a film screenplay.
In addition, he is also an accomplished musician, producer and DJ who has toured Europe + the US extensively, with over 30 releases, compilations and remixes under his belt, with labels Background, Beta Bodega, Chair, Contact, Ecco.Chamber, Irma, Peacefrog, Planet E, Reinforced, Residual, 7th City, 21/22, and many others.
